Gala screenings will roughly run between 19:00 until 21:00. Bar starts at 18:00 and ends at 23:00. You can vote for your favourite film at the event, and the highest scoring film will be awarded the prestigious ‘Audience Vote Award’. Our sponsors, Orillo Productions will also be choosing their favourite, awarding the the ‘Orillo Choice Award’ and a special prize at the Orillo Studios. Both awards will be announced after the Gala Screening on Sunday 18th June 2017.

The winner of the screenwriting competition in partnership with the Artist’s Partnership, will be announced on Saturday 17th June 2017 after the Gala Screening by members of the Artist’s Partnership Drama Department.

Gala Awards Ceremony

The Gala Screenings invite audiences to come to our 143-seat digital cinema to watch the official selection of films. This is an exclusive part to the festival, which will include the most engaging, innovative and exciting films that have come out of the Department of Theatre, Film and Television this year. Tickets for this will be released shortly alongside the nominated films.

Workshops & Speakers

Both workshops and speakers will take place throughout the department over the duration of the festival.
